Shrimad Vasudev Gaushala
In India, cows have been considered a valuable asset since ancient times. Scientific studies have shown that Gomata (Mother Cow) provides Panchagavya, which is beneficial for health and the environment in many ways. Shrimad Vasudev Gaushala is managed by ‘Ved Vasudev Pratishthan’—a trust with a mission and a mission with trust. In this era of knowledge, Ved Vasudev Pratishthan truly aims to worship the essence of knowledge (Gyan and Chaitanya) through sincere actions, unconditional love, and absolute efforts to achieve growth that contributes to the nation and our motherland.
Shrimad Vasudev Gaushala, Pune, is an initiative by Ved Vasudev Pratishthan established in 2017 to care for 80 desi (native) cows. Our main aim is to preserve the purity of the native breeds and reconnect society with Gomata by realizing her importance in our lives and as a crucial part of our life cycle.
To make the Gaushala self-sustaining, we manufacture high-quality utility products from Panchagavya such as incense sticks, dhoop, mats, soaps, floor cleaners, cow dung cakes, and more. We also support women’s empowerment by providing employment opportunities to women from underprivileged communities. These women craft all the products we sell, including cow dung products, Diwali kits, and many others.
